Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan Visits Davlat Belgisi as Part of a Working Engagement

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Timur Ishmetov, conducted a working visit to the production facilities of LLC “Davlat Belgisi” to gain firsthand insight into the advanced technologies and manufacturing processes employed in the production of banknotes, passports, and other high-security printed products of national importance.
 

As part of the visit, the Governor toured the three principal production facilities of “Davlat Belgisi” – the Paper Mill, the Printing Works, and the Mint. The management of the enterprise presented the organization’s operational achievements, ongoing investment initiatives, and strategic development priorities aimed at strengthening production capabilities and enhancing technological competitiveness.
 

During the visit to the Paper Mill, particular emphasis was placed on the modernization of production equipment, the expansion of process automation, and the implementation of advanced quality management systems. The Governor was also introduced to the cotton fiber preparation and processing operations, where carefully selected raw materials undergo a comprehensive multi-stage treatment process to produce homogeneous cellulose pulp used in the manufacture of high-security paper.
 

At the Printing Works, the delegation was presented with cutting-edge technologies utilized in the production of secure printed documents, including banknotes, passports incorporating polycarbonate data pages, educational credentials, and excise stamps. Particular attention was devoted to the enterprise’s capabilities in the development and integration of sophisticated security features designed to safeguard products against counterfeiting and unauthorized reproduction.
 

Representatives of the enterprise also provided an overview of secure digital design development processes and specialized printing technologies that ensure compliance with the highest standards of security, durability, and product integrity.
 

The visit concluded with a tour of the “Davlat Belgisi” Mint, where the Governor reviewed modern coin production technologies, manufacturing operations, and quality assurance procedures implemented throughout every stage of the minting process. The inspection highlighted the enterprise’s commitment to maintaining rigorous production standards and adopting innovative technological solutions across its operations.
 

The visit underscored the strategic importance of continuous technological advancement within Uzbekistan’s security printing and minting industry and reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and “Davlat Belgisi” to strengthening national capabilities in the production of secure documents and currency products in accordance with international best practices and quality standards.
