Currently, a biometric passport for traveling abroad (passport) is made of 2 types: for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The passport is intended for use when traveling outside the state and contains 48 pages.
Pages 3-46 of the passport are made of protected paper with a density of 90 g/m2, which provides reliable protection against forgery.
Pages 1-2 and 47-48 are made of paper with a density of 120 g/m2, which makes them more durable and durable.
All text and graphic material on the pages of the passport is made using modern printing technologies – offset and intaglio.
Inscriptions, headings and other information on all pages of the passport are also made using offset and intaglio printing.
Special attention is paid to the design of the flyleaf pages and page 3 of the passport. The pattern of the ornament on them is made using intaglio printing, which gives them a special aesthetic value and makes them more protected from counterfeiting.
